Project Background
Students from Bishops Park College and Colbayns High School have been collaborating with Triggerset www.triggerset.co.uk, one of the UK's leading VJ collectives, to create a celebration of the Jaywick community through music, video and photography.  The students gained new skills using innovative visual software and camera techniques that prepared them for a week of exploration to capture of the true essence of Jaywick. This culminated in a one day event at the Jaywick Martello Tower that combined theatre, cinema and night club atmosphere taking visitors on a journey through the history, environment and thoughts of the people of Jaywick.

Materials produced during the workshops by the students, including interviews with local residents, are presented in the current interactive exhibition at the Tower, until end June 2008.

They are also available here on the website as an interactive mixing game. Y ou can download all the clips, combine them, add your own original material, and upload onto myspace. New works can be constantly created and shared!
